A Journey of Resilience and Gratitude
I hail from Bala in Vijayapur district, Karnataka. I have never seen my father, for he passed away before I was born. This left my mother, a daily wage worker, to raise my elder brother and me all by herself.Despite our hardships, her unwavering determination ensured we received an education. Though I began my schooling at a government school near my village, my academic progress was slow due to limited facilities. During that time, one of the teachers informed my mother about this institution.
Soon, I joined the institution and that was the turning point for me. The love and care from teachers and sisters helped me overcome past challenges. From something as basic as a toothbrush to books, clothes, bedding, food, and more - everything is provided here.
I have seen huge improvement in my academics. I got a chance to explore different skills and have discovered my passion for painting and alongside the opportunity to learn about different subjects too. The compassion and care I receive here every day is allowing me to grow holistically. I am deeply grateful to everyone who supports this institution and makes my education possible. I am determined to continue working hard and make the most of this opportunity.
