GRATEFUL FOR GOOD EDUCATION

Coming from a humble rural background in the Jagtial district of Telangana, with my father being visually impaired and my mother working tirelessly as a beedi worker, higher education, especially for a girl like me, was never considered a possibility. Yet, entering this institution changed the entire trajectory of my life.

The well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms, digital learning tools and rich libraries, facilities I had only seen in brochures of elite institutions, are accessible to rural students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds like mine, completely free of charge. The academic pathways here, extending from higher primary education to a PhD, have opened doors I never knew existed.

As a rural girl from a conservative, humble background, I am deeply grateful that this institution places women’s empowerment at its core. I have been encouraged and mentored to aim higher, think deeper and dream bigger. Through cultural activities, service opportunities, sports, spiritual lessons and personal guidance, I have received a truly holistic education that has shaped my character and every dimension of my personality.

Today, having completed my MSc in Mathematics, I serve as the Deputy Chairperson of the Sri Sathya Prashanthi Niketanam Women’s PU College, Kondapaka Campus. This journey has shown me how access to quality education, encouragement and the right opportunities can transform a person’s life. I will forever remain grateful to this institution for nurturing my abilities, strengthening my confidence, instilling humility and preparing me to take on leadership responsibilities. As I continue in this role, I aspire to guide and inspire other students, especially girls from rural backgrounds, to recognise their potential and pursue their dreams. I hope to contribute meaningfully to society and lead a life of purpose and fulfilment.
