The Gold Series: Chapter 1 - Nandineni Shanthi
I am Nandineni Shanthi, currently serving as an intern at Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthiniketanam, Nallakadirenahalli. I hail from Nagasamudram Village in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. Belonging to the farming community, I have seen both my parents toil as farmers to make ends meet.
My journey took a transformative turn when I joined Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthiniketanam Girls' PU College in Hyderabad. Reflecting on my time there, I am reminded of the powerful truth: "Your life does not get better by chance; it gets better by change." The education and values imparted by this institution brought about a profound change in me, reshaping my perspective and my purpose.
Initially, my life was singularly focused on the goal of securing a good job to relieve my parents of their burdens. However, the education I received here opened my eyes to a greater purpose—one that extends beyond limited personal ambitions.
I discovered within myself the power to inspire, uplift, and educate others. Securing academic excellence has been a defining achievement in my journey, and I owe much of this success to the unwavering support and guidance provided by the institution. The university’s commitment to academic rigor, combined with its nurturing environment, played a pivotal role in my growth. The dedicated faculty members not only imparted knowledge but also inspired a deep love for learning, encouraging me to push beyond my limits.
