G.A. Chaithra
Chaithra is the second daughter in a row of four daughters for her parents, who were farmers at a small village in the Chintamani Taluk of Karnataka. Girl child education was not a practice in their village. However, Chaitra's grandparents supported her education until Grade 7. She joined the Prashanti Balamandira School for Grade 8 and has been excelling in her academics ever since.
