From the Himalayas to the Skies: A Dream Takes Flight

Bibek joined our school in Grade 8 back in 2011. He comes from the Himalayan region of Sikkim, India. He completed his Higher Secondary (PUC) in Science with us.

With continued support, he went on to pursue a mechanical engineering degree at Nagarjuna College of Engineering and Technology —after which he cleared his aviation exams in 2020, taking the first step toward his dream in aviation.

In 2024, Bibek started his Commercial Helicopter Pilot training at Mauna Loa Helicopters in Hawaii.

Now a certified Commercial Helicopter Pilot, Bibek has earned his Private Pilot License and Instrument Rating, aiming to become “a really good aviator.”

His dream is to return to India and use helicopters to reach remote villages, bringing education and help where it’s needed most.
