Sembcorp Sponsors 60KW Solar-powered Electrification Plant

"Happy to share! A 60KW solar powered electrification plant was inaugurated last week, at our Sri Sathya Sai Karunyaniketanam Gurukulam (for boys) in Sira Taluk of Tumkur District. The installation was sponsored by Sembcorp Energy India Ltd., a leading renewables player in India & Asia, under their CSR initiatives. Sembcorp Energy is a subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, a listed company under the Temasek Holdings stable of companies. The event was graced by our Revered Founder, Sri Madhusudan Sai; Sri T.B. Jayachandra, Special Representative to Delhi from the Government of Karnataka; Sri C.B. Suresh Babu, MLA of Sira Constituency; Sri Sanjeev Kumar, Head of CSR, Head Corporate QHSE & Sustainability at Sembcorp Energy, our esteemed patrons Smt. Shantini & Sri Thiagarajan from Singapore who facilitated the relationship, and Sri Sunil Narang, Trustee - Each One Educate One Foundation.
