World Day Against Child Labour is observed annually across the globe to eliminate child labor; one of the most repressive of all social evils. The theme for this year is “Let’s act on our commitments: End Child Labour!” In a move towards this and with the adoption of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal Target 8.7, the international community has made a commitment to eliminate child labor in all its forms by 2025. At the Each One Educate One Foundation, we embrace vulnerable children from rural underprivileged backgrounds, who are prone to this social deprivation. Through our edu-care programs supported by our philanthropic patrons and partners, we provide these children quality education, nutrition, clothing, essentials, accommodation, daily care, and diverse opportunities for development. Let us all come together to safeguard our children from being subjected to child labor, by granting them their right to quality education and a dignified life.
